Born 1955 in Yaroslavl, USSR, Artemy Troitsky is a radio DJ, TV presenter, cultural & political journalist, music critic, magazine publisher and concert promoter. His weekly 60-minutes world music radio show on ROCK FM is named STEREO VOODOO and covers blues and folk as well. He is also active on the airwaves in Estonia with NEW MUSIC FOR GROWN-UPS in Tallinn at Raadio2. His books include Back in the USSR: The true Story of Rock in Russia and Tusovka and Whatever happened to the Soviet Underground Culture, both published in many countries. Currently he is a professor at the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University.
