Kuba Borysiak

Kuba Borysiak - ethnomusicologist, journalist, broadcaster, producer and musician (Swoja Droga, Alamut). Born 1979. Graduate of the Institute of Musicology, Warsaw University. Since 2008 a regular presenter of the Sources magazine and host of Noktrun show on Polish Radio Two. Programmer and organizer of the Polish Radio Folk Festival New Tradition. Chairman of the Folk and Traditional Music Group of the European Broadcasting Union (2012-2017) (Euroradio Folk Festival) and member of WMCE. Founder and Artistic Director of the Festival of Youth Without Fronteriers in Różanystok (2009-2015). Since 2016 collaborates with the Cross-Culture Festival in Warsaw as board member and programmer. Worked also as a promoter and manager of the polish bands: Kapela Maliszów, Sutari, Karolina Cicha and Infidelis. (2015-2019).
