Cristian Marica, born in 1968, studied the theory of music, musicology, polyphony and Byzantine music at the Academy of Music in Bucharest. His first radio appearance  was with classical music program, in 1996. He had rock, jazz or classical music radio shows. Now he manages the musical playlist of Radio România Cultural, and he is the editor-in-chief of the Musical Actuality Editor.
